DESCRIPTION:Anno Domini\nMeđunarodna site specific koprodukcija\nKada sam prvi put ušla u pulski vrt (park Kampus / bivša Mornarička bolnica)\, o sjetila sam prazninu. Taj prostor s klupama\, poput otoka\, vapi za život om. Vijencem ljudskih tijela i preciznim geometrijskim konstrukcijama stva ramo energiju\, skulpture\, crteže\, fotografije. Donosimo pokret u tiši nu.\nTijekom izvedbe istražujemo mikrosvijet prirode\, gotovo nevidljive procese koje uveličavamo. Temeljni motiv predstave je krug\, otok. Krug\, koji tradicionalno simbolizira cikličnost prirode\, u ovom se radu pojav ljuje kao tijelo koje se neprestano mijenja kroz kružne pokrete. Kontinui rana migracija i promjena lokacije biljaka i životinja zaokuplja pažnju publike. Promatrajući predstavu\, gledatelji se mogu kretati\, šetati iz među otoka i skulptura.\nKlupa ili klupe – jedini rekvizit i vizualni e lement predstave za mene imaju značenje koje nadilazi njihovu osnovnu fun kciju. One simboliziraju zajednički život\, prostor koji poziva na igru\ , koji nudi brojne mogućnosti i poziva na otkrivanje. Klupa ima važnu ul ogu i fizički – služi kao oslonac i točka povezivanja za izvođače\, što omogućuje korištenje akrobatskih elemenata i geometrijskih formi u koreografiji. U potrazi za plesnom dramaturgijom i formalnim koreografski m jezikom\, istražujemo raznolike oblike pokreta. Ispitujemo kako je ples ati dok sjedimo – je li to ograničenje ili kreativna prilika za plesač a? Bavimo se mogućnostima zaplitanja – ili smo već zapleteni jedni s d rugima?\n\nGOBI DANCE COMPANY\nGobi Dance Company\, osnovana 2006. godine\ , započela je svoj rad izvedbama uličnog plesa i nastupima na otvorenim prostorima – drugim riječima\, fizičkim performansima specifičnim za određene lokacije. S predstavom pod nazivom Garden iz 2025. godine\, komp anija se simbolično vraća svojim počecima.\nRad Rite Gobi karakterizira ju hrabro eksperimentiranje i precizna koreografija. U njezinom izrazu pri sutni su geometrija\, minimalizam i težnja ka redukciji. Koreografski kon cept temelji se na koordinaciji tjelesnih pokreta i promjeni stanja koje p roizlaze iz instinktivnih\, monotonih i repetitivnih\, minijaturnih pokret a. This space with benches\, like scattered islands\, seemed to call out for life. Through a garland of human bodies and precise geometric cons tructions\, we create energy\, sculptures\, drawings\, photographs. We bri ng movement into stillness.\nThroughout the piece\, we explore the microco sm of nature\, magnifying nearly invisible processes. The central motif of the performance is the circle\, the island. The circle\, traditionally a symbol of nature’s cycles\, appears here as a body in constant transform ation through circular motion. The continuous migration and shifting of pl ants and animals becomes the focal point of the audience’s attention. As they watch the performance\, spectators are invited to walk\, move betwee n islands and sculptures.\nThe bench or benches – the only props and vis ual elements in the performance – carry meaning that goes beyond their b asic function. They symbolize communal life\, a space that invites play\, discovery\, and multiple possibilities. The bench plays a vital physical r ole as well – it acts as a support and point of connection for the perfo rmers\, allowing for the use of acrobatic elements and geometric forms wit hin the choreography. In our search for dance dramaturgy and a formal chor eographic language\, we explore diverse forms of movement. We ask what it means to dance while sitting – is it imitation or a creative opportunity for the dancer? We explore the potential for entanglement – or perhaps we are already entangled with one another?\n\nGOBI DANCE COMPANY\nGobi Dan ce Company\, founded in 2006\, began its journey with street dance perform ances and open-air shows – in other words\, fusion-based site-specific p erformances. With the 2025 production Garden\, the company symbolically re turns to its roots.\nThe work of Rita Gobi is marked by bold experimentati on and precise choreography. Her artistic expression is shaped by geometry \, minimalism\, and a pursuit of reduction. Her choreographic concept is b ased on the coordination of bodily movement and the transformation of stat es emerging from instinctive\, monotonous\, and repetitive micro-movements .
