DESCRIPTION:The Stone\, The Sorrow proizašla je iz promatranja napuštenih
  kamenoloma diljem Portugala\, istražujući ubrzanu degradaciju tih prost
 ora kroz vizualne slike i povlačeći paralele s društvenim poimanjem obi
 telji. Smještena na granici između javnog i privatnog\, koreograf traži
  brzinu koja gledatelja vodi u mitološki prostor utočišta i pucanja –
  stvarajući pejzaž-ogledalo koje oscilira između bukolične nježnosti

 očeo je studirati vizualne umjetnosti i ima diplomu iz Plesa sa ESD – I
 PL. Njegov rad se razvija kroz multidisciplinarne prakse\, istražujući t
 ijelo kao biografsko polje i prihvaćajući sadašnjost kao politički pro
 stor transgresije\, rituala i afekcije. Od 2014. godine surađuje kao umje
 tnik\, izvođač i asistent u pripremama s duom Ana Borralho &amp\; João 
 Galante\, sudjelujući u stvaranju ATLAS\, SEXYMF\, LOUISE MICHEL\, TEMPO 
 P/ REFLETIR i O CENTRO DO MUNDO. Kao izvođač\, surađivao je s Angélico
 m Liddell\, Romeom Castelluccijem\, Barbarom Griggi\, Luísom Marrafom\, A
 ndréom Uerbom\, Améliom Bentesom i Davisom Freemanom. Pozvan je da podij
 eli svoje kreativne procese na Conservatori Superior de Dansa de València
  i PISCINI.\n\nOd 2017. godine predstavlja svoj rad u zemljama kao što su
  Francuska\, Brazil\, Indonezija\, Austrija\, Norveška\, Indija\, Makao\,
  Singapur\, Australija i Italija. Među značajnim radovima ističu se VÄ
 RA (2022)\, nominiran za najbolju koreografiju od strane SPA-a 2023. godin
 e\, te The Stone\, The Sorrow (2024). Nagrađen je ETIC nagradom za najbol
 ji nacionalni plesni film s QUASE DESABITADA (2022).\nGodine 2017. zajedno
  s Joanom Duarte osniva CAMA – Associação Cultural\, gdje je rezidentn
 i umjetnik i umjetnički direktor. Zajedno s njom koredirigira i kurerira 
 PEDRA DURA – Festival de Dança do Algarve\, a također je i koredaktor 
 Festival Internacional Verão Azul. Godine 2023. osniva CenDDA – Centro 
 de Documentação de Dança do Algarve. Godine 2025. su-kreira DURAREI POR
  PAZ E NUNCA POR MAL\, solo komad za Mélanie Ferreira. Trenutno\, na pozi
 v Sofije Dias &amp\; Vítora Roriza\, sudjeluje u Labu Cumplicidades\, raz
 vijajući istraživanje i umjetničko stvaralaštvo u suradnji s MAAT-om i
  Champalimaud Fondacijom\, s premijerom zakazanom za svibanj 2025. godine.
 \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThe Stone\, The Sorrow originates from the observation of a
 bandoned quarries across the national territory\, examining the accelerate
 d decomposition of these spaces through imagery and drawing parallels with
  the social notion of the concept of Family. Positioned on the boundary be
 tween the public and the private\, the choreographer seeks a velocity that
  leads the spectator to a mythological space of both refuge and rupture\, 
 giving way to a landscape-mirror that oscillates between bucolic tendernes

 began his studies in visual arts and holds a degree in Dance from ESD – 
 IPL. His work unfolds through multidisciplinary practices\, exploring the 
 body as a biographical field and embracing the present as a political spac
 e of transgression\, ritual\, and affection. Since 2014\, he has collabora
 ted as an artist\, performer\, and rehearsal assistant with the duo Ana Bo
 rralho &amp\; João Galante\, participating in the creations ATLAS\, SEXYM
 F\, LOUISE MICHEL\, TEMPO P/ REFLETIR\, and O CENTRO DO MUNDO. As a perfor
 mer\, he has worked with Angélica Liddell\, Romeo Castellucci\, Barbara G
 riggi\, Luís Marrafa\, André Uerba\, Amélia Bentes\, and Davis Freeman.
  He has been invited to share his creative processes at the Conservatori S
 uperior de Dansa de València and PISCINA.\nSince 2017\, he has presented 
 his work in countries including France\, Brazil\, Indonesia\, Austria\, No
 rway\, India\, Macau\, Singapore\, Australia\, and Italy. Notable works in

 na Duarte\, he founded CAMA – Associação Cultural\, where he is a resi
 dent artist and artistic director. He co-directs and curates PEDRA DURA 
 – Festival de Dança do Algarve and is also a co-curator of Festival Int
 ernacional Verão Azul. In 2023\, he created CenDDA – Centro de Document
 ação de Dança do Algarve. In 2025\, he co-creates DURAREI POR PAZ E NUN
 CA POR MAL\, a solo piece for Mélanie Ferreira. Currently\, at the invita
 tion of Sofia Dias &amp\; Vítor Roriz\, he is part of Lab Cumplicidades\,
  developing research and artistic creation in collaboration with MAAT and 
 the Champalimaud Foundation\, with a premiere scheduled for May 2025.
