Družina je zamišljena kao međunarodna mreža umjetnika različitih profila i iz različitih disciplina. ORIANTHEATRE j e usmjeren na izgradnju novog koreografskog jezika koji je na granici vizu alne\, digitalne i izvedbene umjetnosti.\n\nKa-f-ka je najautobiografskiji rad Mehdija Farajpoura po pitanju estetike\, pokreta\, ritma i slika. Pol azište predstave je u gotovo polsatnom trčanju unatrag prije početka sa me izvedbe. Prva slika koju vidimo je plesač s ošamućenom glavom\, grč evima u mišićima\, bez daha i ravnoteže uslijed napora. Što može poka zati iscrpljeno tijelo? Kako preopterećeno tijelo može plesati? Priča j e to o svima i nikome. Čovjek\, izgubljen u rutini vlastitog života\, bu di se da bi otkrio kako je pretvoren u drugo biće. Pati od izolacije\, sa moće\, gladi i boli\, ali svejedno nastavlja trčati kroz sve svoje druš tvene i individualne obveze.\nIzvedba nadahnuta vizualnim univerzumom Fran za Kafke\, slobodna je interpretacija njegovih Preobrazbi. The company’s struct ure is designed as an international network of artists coming from\ndiffer ent disciplines and artistic backgrounds.\nORIANTHEATRE is focused on buil ding a new choreographic language that stands on the border of visual\, di gital and performing arts.\n\nKa-f-ka is Mehdi Farajpour’s most autobiog raphical work in terms of aesthetics\, movement\, rhythm and images. Runni ng backward around a circle for almost half an hour before starting the pe rformance is just the beginning. A dancer with a dizzying head\, muscular contractions\, out of breath and unbalanced by fatigue is the first image you see. What does an exhausted body have to show? How can an overwhelmed body dance? It is the story of everyone and no one. A man\, lost in the ro utine of his life\, awakes to discover that he is transformed into another being. He suffers from isolation\, solitude\, hunger and pain\, but yet k eeps running all through his social-individual obligations.\nInspired by F ranz Kafka’s Visual universe\, the performance is a free interpretation of his Metamorphosis. Like Farajpour’s other performances\, it is also b uilt up on an interdisciplinary (and not multidisciplinary) structure\, th at means it walks in between different disciplines instead of mixing them just for the sake of it.
