For our anniversary, we created honorary awards! On behalf of the festival’s organizer, SAKUD
Pula, we awarded them to those who contributed mostly to its creation, development and
survival. Such a festival cannot be accomplished without the teamwork of a number of
professional collaborators, co-organizers, technicians, volunteers, and all those who provide
support in a variety of ways – with space, equipment, intellectual services or physical strength.
During the opening celebration, we gave the award to Branko Sušac – a former SAKUD
employee and the PUF’s artistic director, and manager of the Theater Dr. Inat, festival’s co-
organizer – for 30 years of his continuous work. Sušac in turn “shyly” awarded the honorary
award to Nataša Govedić, a member of this year’s jury and a longtime associate of PUF. This is
not the time to say thank you quietly, but to publicly announce our gratitude for the friendliness,
effort, persistence, and immeasurable contribution.
Honorary awards were given by PUF’s producer Ivana-Nataša Turković and the executive
production assistant and social media manager Olesia Rusinova. They were given to two previous
SAKUD employees, Ela Poljarević and Zdenka Višković Vuković; the festival co-founders
Davor Mojaš, Nebojša Borojević and Romano Bogdan; the designer of visual identities and all
promotional and publicity materials since 2011 Feodora Gubaš Štifanić; Suzana Marjanić and
Bojan Munjin, who contributed immeasurably to the promotion of the festival in the media and
magazines; the technical director of the festival, Marko Bolković, who has been with PUF for 25
years; and the Istrian National Theatre, the co-organizer and host of a series of programs.
Special thanks went to the frequent co-organizers of PUF: Archaeological Museum of Istria, the
Historical and Maritime Museum of Istria and the Cvajner Gallery, the long-term volunteer
Sabina Aličić Butković and Sandro Butković, who created the new festival website, and Miro
Ploj.
This year the contribution was also given by: the Living Room of CC Rojc, Gallery Makina, Club
Kotač, a number of donors (Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, Istria
County, City of Pula, Tourism Office of the City of Pula, Kultura nova Foundation, Program for
the Internationalization of Spanish Culture PICE), HUIU, Bistro Alighieri, Pleter usluge, Bistro
Public, Church of St. Francis, and media sponsorships.
All awards were made by Iva Višković, with the contribution of Branko Gulin, while the festival
photographer was Igor Dražić.
