Dear friends, Branko has passed away.

With great sadness and heavy hearts, on the eve of the 32nd PUF Festival, we inform all our theatre friends and collaborators that our Artistic Director and Festival Curator, Branko Sušac, has passed away at the age of 79.
During 32 years of dedicated work and life devoted to PUF and Dr. Inat Theatre, Branko Sušac brought more than 380 theatre productions and performances from all five continents to Pula. He also organized numerous artistic encounters, workshops, discussions, and international collaborations, thereby confirming his role as a leading figure of the theatre scene and as the director of one of the most important festivals of contemporary and alternative theatre in Croatia and the region.
The final farewell to the great theatre master, Branko Sušac, who nurtured and safeguarded the creative sky of PUF, will take place on Thursday, 25 June 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the City Cemetery of Pula.
